Does anyone check how the money was being used?
Monitoring the progress and performance of projects remains an essential part of European Funds management. SEP Ltd monitors projects' progress towards their targets through the information supplied in claim forms. All projects can be subject to Monitoring Visits, which are carried out by SEP Ltd. The key areas for discussion will be project performance, financial performance, organisational performance, participants. Projects could also be subject to an audit visit carried out by the Scottish Executive.
How should European Funds support be acknowledged?
It is a condition of grant that any assistance received by a project from the European Funds is clearly acknowledged in all publicity material and events. When acknowledging the support of European Funds to a project you should use the European logo and the standard wording indicating the relevant Fund and Programme.
