Changes to Projects - After Approval is Given
Change Process
Occasionally there may be a need for Project Sponsors
to make changes to a project's expenditure profile, its targets or other features
after it has received an Offer of Grant.
These changes cannot be notified using the claim
form. They are handled separately through the 'Change Process'
and a pro
forma enables changes to be notified
to SEP Ltd. Guidance explaining
the most common types of changes affecting projects and how to notify
a reduction to the grant awarded is given. This guidance also describes
the circumstances in which you might apply for an increase to an award
approved.
Any such changes should be notified to SEP Ltd
as soon as apparent using the pro
forma available.
Please consult the guidance prior
to submission. As requests for change may require referral to the Programme
Committees, Project
Sponsors should ensure that there is sufficient time for SEP Ltd
to respond to requests prior to a project's next claim falling due.
SEP Ltd will confirm whether a change request has
been accepted. Once requests have been accepted and processed, the project's web based
claim form will contain the approved changes. Remember to allow time for
notification and processing of requests for change before starting a project's
next claim. Please note that notification of changes given after
commencement of input on a claim will result in that input being lost.
You are therefore advised to notify changes prior to completing a web based
claim.
ERDF/ESF Claim Forms and Guidance
Packs contain links to the web based system that generates
projects' claim forms and all guidance documents and forms which you may
require to use over the lifetime of a project.
These packs should be used for ERDF projects approved
on or after December 2003 on the online application system
and ESF projects approved on or after 12 June 2003.
